AVK Threaded Insert

Precision Specialties is pleased to offer AVK’s threaded inserts. AVK’s A-R Series insert’s four high load bearing "legs" are perfectly designed for use in plastics and thin gauge sheet metal applications where increased pull-out resistance is required. The slotted body design of AVK threaded inserts folds into four segments gripping the backside of the parent material upon installation. This design feature allows AVK threaded inserts to be installed into single, variable or multiple thickness materials.

AVK Threaded Inserts Design Features

Hand or pneumatic torque tools may be used for installation of these threaded inserts in single, variable or multiple thickness materials. You may also use torque type tools when installing AVK threaded inserts, as the slightly expanded slotted body design allows for torque.
