Drive Fitting

Drive fittings are most commonly used by original equipment manufactures (OEM's) because they can be installed more quickly into unthreaded holes. The fittings are pounded or pressed into place using a drive tool. The barbs provide a locking grip. These fittings are sometimes called "press fit" fittings. Use only in light or medium pressure applications.
