Pipe Thread (NPT)

1/8" NPT = 27 Threads Per Inch
1/4" NPT = 18 Threads Per Inch

1/8" NPT threaded fittings are made of thick-walled high grade steel. The parts are hardened and plated to provide corrosion and wear resistance.

1/4" NPT threaded fittings are most commonly used on farm machinery, conveyor systems and heavy industrial equipment. Recommended for use in cold weather with heavy lubricants, up to 10,000 pounds of pressure.
