Self-Forming Thread
These fitting use tapered-shaped and hardened threads that provide
a "self tapping" action allowing them to be driven into an untapped hole.
To achieve the best seal, it is better to spin the fitting into the hole.
Self-Forming fittings may be replaced by any standard threaded fitting, or
by another Self-Forming fitting.
